Position: Cloud Security Engineer Location: Alpharetta, GA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Duration: 12 Months Client: Morgan Stanley Job Description: As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will: Collaborate with engineers to implement security policies within CI/CD tools, including SAST, DAST, and SCA applications. Partner with Development, DevOps, and Security teams to develop automated security and compliance capabilities for DevOps processes. Define secure coding rules for web and mobile applications in languages such as Java, React, Objective C, SWIFT, and Kotlin. Provide security guidance to developers by creating secure coding standards and guidelines. Support security standards and develop templates and patterns to streamline the adoption of security programs. Required Skills: Bachelor's degree and 8 years of IT experience . Minimum 3 years of software development experience in Java and JavaScript. Proficiency in: OWASP Secure Coding Practices and common application vulnerabilities. Application security scanning tools. CI/CD processes (e.g., Jenkins). Python scripting. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in Cybersecurity or certifications like CISSP/CSSLP . Expertise in SAST, DAST, IAST , or other Secure SDLC tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Fortify, Checkmarx, Veracode). Familiarity with DevSecOps , container/orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker), and public cloud services. Strong knowledge of threat analysis and vulnerability scanning tools.
