Join Our Team as an Unarmed Security Officer at IronRock Security

Are you a dedicated professional with experience in security services? IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced unarmed security officer to join our team and a Wawa location in Maplewood, NJ.

Position: Unarmed Security Officer Location: Maplewood, NJ


Schedule: Monday & Tuesday 3pm-11pm


Pay Rate: $17/hour


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the Wawa premises to ensure the safety and security of the property.
  • Monitor surveillance equipment and alarms to detect and respond to any suspicious activities or incidents.
  • Provide assistance to customers and employees as needed, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or unusual incidents to appropriate authorities and supervisors.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as state regulations regarding security operations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
  • Valid New Jersey Security Officer Registration Act (SORA) license.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent observational and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
