How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? The Test Pad Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily testing operations at our turbo expander manufacturing facility. This role involves supervising a team of skilled test technicians to ensure the quality and reliability of turbo expanders during the final testing phase. The Test Pad Manager will ensure all testing processes are executed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards and customer requirements. Team Supervision: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of test technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Schedule and assign tasks to ensure effective coverage and timely completion of testing activities. Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the team. Testing Operations: Oversee the setup, execution, and documentation of test procedures for turbo expanders, including functional, mechanical and performance testing. Ensure that all test procedures adhere to internal quality standards, industry regulations, and customer specifications. Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any issues identified during testing. Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular safety audits, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Ensure that all testing equipment and tools are calibrated, maintained, and in good working order. Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for test pad operations. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze test data to identify trends, deviations, and potential performance issues. Prepare and present test reports, providing insights and recommendations to engineering and production teams. Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for test pad operations, such as cycle time, test pass rates, and downtime. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and safety of testing operations. Lead root cause analysis for any testing failures or quality issues and implement corrective actions. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless integration of testing activities within the overall manufacturing process. Communicate effectively with customers during witness testing and address any concerns or questions. Are you a MATCH? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operating equipment within a gas processing industry, ASU (air separation unit), or similar processing industry. Experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the turbo machinery or rotating equipment industry would be considered a plus. At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience leading a team of technicians. Strong knowledge of turbo expander operation or gas processing systems, testing procedures, and diagnostic equipment. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and test documentation. Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASME). Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. The annual base salary range for this position in California is

$110,000 - $125,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
