About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W0H9AA US ARMY AVIATION AND MISSILE COMMAND. Responsibilities Serve as a supervisor and perform the full range of technical and administrative supervisory functions. Plan, coordinate, negotiate, supervise, and manage security support for Special Access Programs and general security programs, to include Counterintelligence and Technology Protection Programs. Serve as the central Point of Contact (POC) for all Special Access Programs managed by AMCOM, or in which AMCOM is a participant. Ensure that all report submission, coordination, meetings, and SAP security management functions are accomplished. Develop and implement methods and procedures to ensure internal functional efficiency, compliance with safety, security, and energy programs, support for the EEO program, and other stated Command goals and objectives. Execute administrative and personnel management responsibilities relating to organizational mission. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Experience developing or managing the implementation of security policies and programs for two of the following: Information, Industrial, Physical, Communication, Personnel, and/or Foreign Disclosure Security disciplines; AND (2) experience providing security management for a multi-discipline program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-13 or above). Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
