Job Title: Licensed Security Guard

We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and visitors.

Responsibilities:

- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence

- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises

- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances

- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences

- Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary

- Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protection

- Monitor and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering

- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position

- Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment

- Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time

- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
