Job Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities Available


Schedule: All Shifts Available (Days/Afternoons/Overnights)


Salary: $18.75 An Hour


Description: We are seeking a vigilant and reliable individual to join our team as an Unarmed Security Officer. In this position, you will be tasked with maintaining the safety and security of our client’s property, personnel, and assets. The ideal candidate will have sharp observation skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to prevent and detect unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to suspicious behavior or security breaches.
  • Perform comprehensive inspections of the premises to ensure all doors, windows, and access points are properly secured.
  • Respond promptly to requests for assistance and emergencies, such as medical situations, disturbances, or accidents.
  • Accurately document security incidents, disturbances, and other significant events in detailed logs and reports.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and clients with inquiries, directions, and other needs.
  • Collaborate effectively with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and state/federal regulations to uphold security standards and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge of security procedures, emergency responses, and relevant legal guidelines.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or management.


Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a security officer or guard.
  • Completion of a 20-hour state certification course and possession of a PERC Card.
  • Strong understanding of legal guidelines related to security and public safety.
  • Skilled in report writing.
  • Exceptional surveillance and observation skills.
  • Valid Drivers License

  • Reliable Transportation

  • High School diploma is required; further education in security administration or a similar field is preferred
