Responsibilities:
In keeping with the Marian Regional Medical Center health care philosophy the Security Officer performs a variety of duties relating to the security of the Medical Center buildings and grounds to prevent fire theft vandalism illegal entry and to assure the personal safety of employees patients and visitors.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess a valid California Driver License (CA DL)
- Must possess a valid California Security Guard Card Permit (SEC GUARD)
- Must successfully complete the Hospital Security Officer Training Program within a 90-day period of time
Preferred Requirements:
- At least six (6) months experience in security or law enforcement

- Knowledge of security policies and procedures and how Security interfaces with other departments.
- Must have computer knowledge and proficient in the use of MS Word Excel and Access.
