This role reports into our Boston HQ office Monday-Friday. Must have shift flexibility from the hours of 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM; schedule may change due to business needs.

The Corporate Security Agent will be responsible for the daily security operations of Wayfair Headquarters in Boston. This position will provide daily support to internal and external stakeholders, as well as applicable stakeholders in the event of an incident. Additionally, you'll have an opportunity to become cross-trained in our GSOC. This individual will be part of a dynamic corporate security team whose mission is to provide world class support to our partners.

What You'll Do
  • Perform daily functions of the Corporate Security Agent by monitoring alarms, access control, and events that may impact Wayfair's HQ operations and assets.
  • Review, analyze, and escalate issues to help mitigate threats to Wayfair's employees, property, and partners in Boston.
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Lead Corporate Safety & Security Officer and assist in the day to day operations of the HQ.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents or crisis events that occur or could potentially impact Wayfair's operations.
  • Perform key duties and be the key point of contact for first responders in the event of an emergency.
  • Maintain detailed records of communications and events, including incident tracking and case management.
  • Manage and handle sensitive incidents while maintaining the company's and affected individual's confidentiality.

Secondary Duties Include:
  • Cross-train on the GSOC and work along side a team of analysts monitoring access control, CCTV, and other sources. Provide periodic and timely reports.
  • Dispatch and coordinate responses to incidents or crisis events that occur or could potentially impact Wayfair's operations.


What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of experience working in a security function, preferably in a security role or setting (either government or private sector).
  • Must have schedule flexibility and be available to work occasional night or weekend event.
  • Familiarity with access management technologies such as Lenel and other softwares such as Microsoft Office and Google Suites.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment, think through problems, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills during both crisis and non-crisis situations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a group environment.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule is a must.
  • Associates Degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Be an experienced professional with the highest standards of discipline and professionalism.
