Lovell Academy LLC is hiring: Overnight Security Guard in Rockland

We’re looking for a competent security guard to join our team to monitor the premises and protect our valued staff, visitors, and students. Our ideal candidate will have prior experience as a security officer or guard. They will have a sharp eye with quick reaction time in the detection of any suspicious or criminal behavior, violence and prevention of theft or vandalism.

We will rely on this individual for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, students, visitors, and property on our grounds.

This is a seasonal role active during the school’s academic calendar year beginning August 20th through May 30th. This role would not be scheduled to work during school Holidays and breaks when students are not boarding.

Hours/Shifts:

Overnight

Rotating Sun-Mon

9PM-6AM

Pay:

$20-$25 hourly

Requirements:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe environment through diligent active patrol, access control and monitoring
• Secures premises and access points
• Be visible and observant at all times, interact, when necessary, with staff, guests, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner
• Respond immediately to distress calls, alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly and disruptive behavior and persons, and handle incidents swiftly and appropriately
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points
• Investigates security incidents and other alarming behavior
• Records observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
