JOB LOCATION: Los Angeles
POSITION TITLE: Covert Security Specialist
STATUS/HOURS: ON-CALL
PAY RANGE: $26 Hourly
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Tremendous job opportunity in Los Angeles area for security professionals or transitioning veterans. Work with teams conducting covert operations that are part of a specialized physical security program. This includes supporting a team to positively identify, track, document, and escalate suspicious or concerning activities at client locations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform discreet observation and covert operations in support of site and personnel protection.
- Proactively assess and detect potential threats while remaining undetected.
- Document incidents via preferred client methods.
- Active observation of client campuses utilizing various surveillance and detection methods.
- Provide timely and appropriately channeled escalations.
- Maintain suitable communication along with providing periodic reporting to supervisors.
- Participate in initial and reoccurring covert operations training.
- Demonstrate responsibility for all equipment used in support of covert operations.
- Other duties and special projects assigned to support client activities.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE:
- Required – Google Suite, MS Office proficient, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Have a general understanding of common technology platforms.
- Ability to make rapid notifications via common communication tools.
MINIMUM & DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two (2) years or greater experience in relevant training and qualifications.
- Military experience a plus.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a standard background check, drug screening, and possess a valid US passport or driver's license.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization.
- Current CA BSIS Guard Card.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Constant: Sitting, Standing, Seeing, Listening, Speaking.
- Periodic: Physical Training, Specialized Training.
- Ability to climb stairs and walking inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Ability to lift and/or move at least 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work typically performed as mobile team member, driving, walking, biking, etc.
- May work outside in inclement weather.
