About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Phlebotomist to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for drawing blood, collecting specimens, and processing samples in a timely and accurate manner. Your attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols will be critical to ensuring the quality and integrity of our laboratory results. You will work closely with our medical staff to provide exceptional patient care and support our mission of improving healthcare outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
  • Experience performing venipuncture and capillary puncture
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with plasma processing techniques
  • Ability to perform basic vital signs measurements

Responsibilities:

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary puncture to collect blood specimens from patients
  • Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing according to established protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and medical staff

Skills:

As a Phlebotomist, you will use your expertise in drawing blood, venipuncture, phlebotomy, blood drawing, specimen processing, specimen collection, blood collection, plasma processing techniques, and vital signs to provide exceptional patient care and support our laboratory operations. You will work closely with our medical staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of specimens, and maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the quality and integrity of our laboratory results. Your ability to follow established protocols and maintain accurate records will be critical to your success in this role.
