Description
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking to hire a full-time Phlebotomist to join our team at the Metropolitan Transition Center located in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger sticking for blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.
Pay rate range $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on years of experience
Qualifications
•High school diploma or GED equivalent required
•Current Phlebotomist certification with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist required
•Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license preferred
•Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
•Corrections experience preferred
•Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
