Phlebotomist Job at PRIDE Healthcare in West Bend

Pride Health is hiring Phlebotomists to support our client's facility in West Bend, WI 53095. This is a 12 weeks of Contract role.

Duties:

1. Perform specimen collection via venipuncture, capillary collection, and legal blood alcohol testing following lab protocols.
2. Process specimens by accurately identifying, labeling, and preparing samples for testing and transport.
3. Conduct CLIA-waived tests and manage EKGs, spirometry, drug screens, and breath alcohol testing as assigned.
4. Use lab systems efficiently, entering orders, checking in patients via EPIC, and resolving order/sample issues.
5. Maintain a clean work area, stock supplies, monitor expiration dates, and assist with training new staff and students.

Must have qualifications/experience:

• Must have In-Patient experience.
• Must have high-volume blood draw experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of approved phlebotomy training program or an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Shift Time: Variable. 1330-2200, 5-1330, 0530-1400, weekends as needed.

Location: West Bend, WI 53095

Pay Range (Local): $20/hour - $25/hour
