Shopbop is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development professional to join the Brand Marketing team to deliver strategic initiatives, new business opportunities, and partnerships within the fashion sector. This role will work closely with Shopbop senior management, business leaders across Amazon, and external brand partners to develop unique Shopbop-first partnership opportunities, lead activation strategy and alignment, and drive opportunity in growth sectors.
This role will define Shopbop’s business development strategy and drive alignment and support across business teams. Responsibilities include: Defining and executing strategies that include category expansion (e.g., Sports), in-person events and activations, and innovative partnerships. Increasing Shopbop brand awareness. Managing and executing Shopbop’s most complex and high impact initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems, has proven experience as a manager, works effectively with cross-functional counterparts, and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. Proving you have high judgement, strong capabilities to earn trust, and are a skilled communicator is critical for this position.
Minimum Requirements: 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs Experience communicating results to senior leadership Passionate about the Shopbop brand and the fashion space Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights Experience with Salesforce and Tableau MBA Experience in sports partnership space

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
