Phlebotomist/Ocala FL Job at Select Laboratory Partners in Ocala

Select Laboratories Marion County, Ocala FL is seeking to hire full-time and part-time phlebotomists. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. Work schedule is day shift, Monday - Friday. Part-time hours are working no more than 30 hours per week. Applicants must be a graduate of an approved phlebotomy school and at least one year of experience. Medical, dental and vision benefits are options available to full time employee plus a company paid $50K life insurance policy. Salary compares to area hospital systems and reference laboratories.

Job duties-

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary technique for all age groups
• Process and prepare specimens for testing
• Perform patient information data entry into laboratory information system
• Collect and process patient insurance billing information
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Administrative and clerical duties as assigned
• Provide superior customer service
• Maintain HIPPA and OSHA compliance

Job requirements-

• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is required
• One year of experience
• Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record
