Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense. This is a contingent position based upon contract award KBR is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Research and Development Contract Analyst to join our team supporting a government client in Maryland. In this role you will be part of the acquisition management team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in drafting agreement products/documents. Execution and delivery of data calls. Contract folder development, preparation, maintenance, and closeout. Support solicitation and award processes including drafting solicitation, consolidating Q&As, and drafting amendments, compliance checks, cost analysis, records maintenance, documenting communications with offerors and Program Managers, supporting negotiations, and drafting contracts/grants/cooperative agreements/other transactions. Maintain pre- and post-award data in the official contract file and metrics database. Prepare audit finding reconciliation reports for the Contracting Officer. Support the establishment of new processes, documents, and file maintenance for IARPA contract's function. Qualifications: Required: A CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI federal security clearance with Polygraph Five (5) or more years of relevant experience with Federal Government contracting Two (2) years of IC experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts, or related field DAWIA Level I, Federal Acquisition Certification 1, or related professional certification Demonstrated knowledge of contracting procedures, types, and methods, including formal advertising, negotiation, fixed-price, grants, and cost contracting Demonstrated knowledge of cost and price procedures to evaluate offers and responsibility of contractors on the basis of competition, historical costs, reports from auditors or technical specialists, contractor cost breakdowns regarding labor, materials, overhead, and profit, or other evaluation criteria and selection processes. Experience developing and accessing Market Research Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) Knowledgeable in the application of related laws, regulations, policies, precedents, methods, complexities, and techniques of federal contracting, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the IARPA Government agency acquisition process Desired: Seven (7) years of experience with Federal government contracting Experience with the Federal grants process Basic Compensation: $82,900 - $124,400 This range is for the Maryland area only. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
