Senior Trader - AIM
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze client portfolios, trade mutual funds, ETFs, equities and other securities in client accounts, using Advyzon’s Quantum Rebalancer as well as custodian and other tools
Play a leading role in the evolution of the trade team and its processes, escalating operational risks and effectively partnering with technology and global operations resources to address technology barriers
Maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders including advisors, portfolio managers, custodians, third party vendors, other investment operations teams, and other groups within Advyzon to contribute to the efficient operation of our investment program
Ability to work during the hours of 8:00-4:30pm CST
Understand and improve problem solving capability for complex trade flow, accounting issues, and transactional discrepancies
Leverage your quantitative skills to decompose processes to improve control and scale of the business
Provide project management leadership and/or support for new and existing products, for the development and enhancement of processes and systems.
Maintain team procedures and provide regular management reporting to Operations managers and the business
Train and guide junior staff
Skills/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
MBA, CFP, or CFA a plus.
Knowledge of a variety of financial products including managed portfolios, TAMP solutions, stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds.
A strong interest in financial markets and Asset Management.
Trading and risk management experience for large positions preferred.
Comfort working in a quantitative environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Advanced Excel skills required.
A focused, dedicated, and entrepreneurial personality.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working on multiple tasks with competing priorities both independently and within a team construct.
Creativity, the desire to innovate, and investing passion.
Solid understanding of financial markets, money movement and trading attributes, including realized gains.
Ability to problem solve and determine the most effective method of problem resolutions while complying with corporate and regulatory procedures.
