The Role

Artemis is looking for a Laboratory Technician for the Riverside office. Under the supervision of the Site Director, the Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting various activities associated with the day-to-day operations of the research department in the conduct of clinical trials.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Range: $23-$27/hr

Location: Riverside - no remote work

Travel: 10%

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm

Responsibilities:
  • Process and ship laboratory specimens per the protocol requirements
  • Phlebotomy
  • Conduct inventory of study-specific and Artemis laboratory supplies, keep an accurate record of all the inventory, and order supplies as needed
  • Maintain working knowledge of the laboratory manuals for all study
  • Maintain high-level organization of the laboratory and complete all necessary logs regularly
Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a phlebotomist within the state of California required
  • Previous experience with lab draws/phlebotomy preferred; willing to consider newly licensed phlebotomists with no previous work experience
  • Minimum of one year of experience managing a lab, ordering, and inventory preferred
  • Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service
