Job Description:
Are you a dedicated and experienced Phlebotomist Patient Service Representative looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Join our team as a Phlebotomist III - Float and make a positive impact on patients' lives.
- As a Phlebotomist III - Float, you'll be responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients in various settings, including doctor's offices, patient service centers, long-term care facilities, and more. Your expertise and compassionate demeanor will create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients.
- Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
- Prepare specimens for laboratory testing according to established procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build trust with patients.
- Demonstrate leadership skills and mentor new team members.
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including sales, laboratory testing services, IT, billing, and logistics.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
- At least 3 years of experience in a PSC/IOP environment
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in keyboard/data entry
