Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for patients, explaining procedures clearly and addressing any concerns.
- Blood Draws: Perform accurate and efficient blood draws, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Specimen Preparation: Prepare blood specimens for lab testing, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, building trust and rapport with patients.
- Phlebotomy Experience: Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in keyboard/data entry and computer systems.
