The Senior Supply Chain Director is responsible for supporting the Aerospace Business Unit. This leadership position is a critical role to develop our strategic plans for Aerospace Supply Chain planning. Teams under this role perform supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.

This position is part of the Aerospace Business Unit and will be located in our New Port Richey, Florida location.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Direct global teams, to include procurement, commodity management, sourcing, and planning, across two locations and accountable for the execution of materials planning and production scheduling for the Aerospace business unit.

Cost Management, Management of PPV funnel, project management, and project execution, setting and delivering yearly PPV and VAVE savings.

Lead teams and supplier business reviews in the management of key supplier relationships/key business reviews, supplier scorecards, etc. in the region as well as negotiating critical supply contracts, including analyzing market data, evaluating supply alternatives, create negotiation strategies.

Build capabilities to improve supply chain effectiveness, and utilize resources and materials to achieve and sustain service level targets utilizing lean continuous improvement methodology (DBS).

Responsible for broad range of responsibilities critical to efficient utilization of resources and materials to achieve and sustain service level targets.

Accountable for Capacity Planning in line with changing demand; tracks and publishes all key performance metrics tied to execution, including running aspects of Sales & Operations Planning.

Work closely with Pall BU and Operations Leadership in setting and deploying global policy, strategy and processes for direct and indirect procurement including funnel management, metrics, sourcing strategies, supply base management, and talent development.

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or a related field and 10+ years in manufacturing environment and 4+ years' experience leading staff/teams.

Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally to achieve BU targets and goals (OTD, financial commitments, etc.)

Experience working with a global team, highly matrixed organization.

Proven success utilizing financial acumen to drive Cost Management/Cost Savings initiatives and projects.

Strong working knowledge of the regulatory and quality requirements for aerospace industry and customers.

Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and experience utilizing electronic sourcing tools.

Travel requirements:

Travel domestically and internationally to suppliers up to 50%.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Demonstrated success in supplier management, cost reduction projects, VAVE, DPO/terms, on-time delivery, supplier sustainability, or experience.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
