Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine Solutions, Fedwire Funds and Securities, the National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash1, FedACH, Check Services, and the FedNow Service. FRFS operates as a fully integrated organization with groups dedicated to operations, technology, product and industry engagement, enterprise services, and one focused on the ongoing growth and development of the FedNow instant payment service. Key Activities: Track data center exit release work Collaborate with teammates to ensure cutover plans are thorough and structure is in place to promote successful transition of operations to new environment Coordinate with agile teams to schedule and report on release activities Implement changes accurately and timely in close coordination with agile team members and various cross functional peers Manage Jira ticket assignments, communicate changes to appropriate teams and ensure key individuals are included in process and communications Create, review, and track change tickets in Service Now. Learn how FRFS applications operate and develop into a subject matter expert Engage and build relationships cross functionally within the Federal Reserve Financial Services Support maintenance of the release plan and execution processes to drive the on-time and effective delivery of high-quality releases Collaborate and contribute to implementing a standardized deployment process that delivers patches, hot fixes, minor enhancements and major releases Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the success of release initiatives Participate in PI planning sessions with agile teams Collaborate with product delivery teams to ensure deployment and testing plans are executed based on the established release schedule Partner with team to maintain a standardized configuration management database across FRFS Communicate release plan and status to stakeholders and escalate issues as required Continuously optimize change and release process and plans, engaging with peers to promote consistent processes across FRFS product lines Qualifications: Typically requires at least 3 years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree specializing in computer science, information systems, business, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience Aptitude to learn and become proficient in technical systems and tools Experience with change control activities including adhering to change policy, accurately managing change tickets and executing changes Experience working across a heterogeneous datacenter, cloud, and SaaS environments Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and problem solving Working in a SAFe Agile environment Collaborative workstyle with the ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions with a solution-oriented mindset Experience with using tools like JIRA and ServiceNow Experience with CI/CD tools such as XL Deploy, Jenkins, WinSCP, Putty, Secure CRT, AWS, and GitLab a plus Additional Information: Location(s): Hybrid - Yes, FRB office Remote Only Eligible - No Hybrid, on-site requirement will be determined by hiring district Remote eligibility will be determined by hiring district The selected candidate's new job title and associated pay range will be determined by the employing District and will continue to be subject to the employing District's people policies and practices (i.e., remote/hybrid work posture, etc.). This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job.
