Overview:

Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical services to the Minnesota Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a part-time EMT, CMA or Phlebotomistto join the team at the Minnesota Correctional Facility Rush City located in Rush City, Minnesota.

Responsibilities:

The EMT, CMA, Plebotomistmay be responsible for gathering patient vital signs, obtaining specimens, applying dressings, assisting nurses by following written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration, assisting in examinations, and assisting patients with activities of daily living. Additional responsibilities include working closely with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patients,recognizing and documenting the signs and symptoms of medical needs warranting additional professional expertise, and notifying the appropriate medical staff of changes in patients condition, reaction to medications and/or treatments, and of other significant incidents.

Qualifications:

• Minnesota EMT, CMA or Phlebotomist
• Current CPR
• Corrections experience not required
• Ability to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Available Shift:

• 8 hours per week working 4 hours on Monday and Tuesday OR 4 hours on Tuesday and Friday
• Schedule: 6:30am to 10:30am
