Customer Service Details:
- Temporary position
- $18.00 /hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 07:00am to 04:00pm)
Communicate to our customer by confirmation document and phone call as to when they will receive their material. Receive orders from customers, input all orders into the System and prepare delivery tickets. All orders must be input into system daily before leaving. Communicate to our customer by confirmation document and phone call of any deviation that occurs from the customer material request or original delivery date. Communicate to our customer by confirmation document and phone call if material does not all fit on truck as to what the customer would like removed. Establish lead times for orders. Coordinate all trucks for shipping material from Steel-Con to our customers. Make sales calls by phone (cold calling if necessary) daily to ask for orders to fill trucks, start a truck, or just find out if they need anything. Coordinate with sales people to call all customers to fill light truck loads. Record customer complaints and turn in monthly. Work with the sales department to input in to system all job quotes. Ensuring accuracy of price at the time of entering and quantities. Return all quotes within an hour of receiving them. If not, contact customer. Assists with physical plant inventory -Handle all incoming telephone calls and assist walk in customers and drivers.
Customer Service Qualifications:
Should have excellent product knowledge (will educate on the job). Should be able to use the computer extremely well. Should have great communication skills: written and verbal communication. Should have a lot of patience when communicating with the customer. Should have good listening skills, since most of the time, communication with the customers is done over the phone. Should be attentive to detail. Should have the skill of versatility; you will have to adapt to many situations regarding the customer. Should have the skills as well as ability to work with others in close manner.
