Job Description
We are in the market for a Customer Service Representative to join our team located in Kingston, New York. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming calls, manage outgoing calls, and ensure the smooth operation of customer service functions. This opportunity is a short term contract employment.
Responsibilities
• Operate as the initial contact for incoming phone inquiries from customers.
• Execute outgoing calls to our existing customer base.
• Manage new customer orders efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries related to invoices.
• Guide customers to other departments such as technical support when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
• Utilize data entry skills to maintain customer information.
• Utilize your customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating excellent multitasking skills.
• Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.• Strong skills in answering inbound calls promptly and professionally.
• Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to engage and build relationships with customers.
• Proficiency in data entry, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle difficult customers with tact and patience.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet.
• Good time management skills, with the ability to multitask and handle high volumes of calls.
• Knowledge of customer service software and CRM tools would be a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a related field will be considered a plus.
