We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Fairfield, New Jersey. The primary function of this role is to ensure smooth operations in a dynamic environment, focusing on order processing, customer service, and inventory management.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the process of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner
• Manage customer inquiries and provide optimal solutions to their needs
• Maintain an up-to-date record of customer credit information
• Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate actions when necessary
• Coordinate shipping procedures and ensure accurate inventory tracking
• Handle orders of large kitchen equipment for detail oriented kitchens and restaurants
• Assure seamless communication with customers and provide personable service
• Utilize SAP or other relevant software to manage customer orders and inventory
• Collaborate with warehouse associates and the operations manager for efficient workflow
• Ensure a high level of verbal and written communication skills.• Proficiency in Customer Service is a must, with the ability to handle clients' queries efficiently.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally.
• Experience in order entry is required, with the ability to process and track orders accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for understanding customers' needs.
• Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Prior experience in a customer service role would be a distinct advantage.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline would be a plus.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills would be an asset.
