Job Overview:
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling their questions, concerns, and ensuring a smooth experience throughout their interaction with the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with order placement, product information, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers with accurate information and recommendations.
- Manage customer complaints or feedback, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Document customer interactions and feedback in the CRM system for future reference.
- Assist with maintaining inventory and restocking shelves as needed.
- Provide support to other team members and departments as required.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality customer service.
- Assist in gathering customer feedback to improve service standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education in customer service, business, or related field is a plus).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging customer interactions with professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and experience with CRM or point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Friendly, approachable, and empathetic demeanor.
