Job Description

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers on behalf of the company. The CSR will provide information to customers in response to inquiries about products, services, prices, schedules, and deliveries. The CSR will receive review, and process customer orders and ensure timely shipment and delivery of all orders. The CSR will also receive document and resolve customer complaints.

Position Responsibilities

  1. Communicate effectively with customers, the Customer Service Manager, other CSRs, sales teams, production, and shipping teams.
  2. Compile and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
  3. Acknowledge and assist customers in a timely manner.
  4. Process customer orders in a courteous, efficient, and timely manner.
  5. Organize workflow to meet customer deadlines.
  6. Effectively present and discuss the products and services of the company, soliciting only those desired products/services provided by the company to current and prospective customers in a way that conveys an image of quality, integrity and superior understanding and delivery of customer needs.
  7. Manage telephone calls professionally, efficiently and with good communication skills.
  8. Attend to customer questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and facilitate satisfactory resolution.
  9. Understand and appropriately use the company pricing system and policies.
  10. Review estimates and invoices for accuracy
  11. Support the efforts of the sales representatives.
  12. Support customer sales through service, education and effective problem solving.
  13. Support strategic sales plan and marketing strategies outlined by management and facilitate joint marketing calls where applicable.
  14. Use company computer systems for data entry.
