Wildfire IT Operational Compliance Manager

to lead our team in developing and implementing innovative tools to enhance wildfire and operational compliance IT systems. In this role, you will oversee the design and deployment of advanced technologies to improve real-time data capabilities, conduct risk assessments, and create strategies that fortify systems against emerging threats. You will also manage and guide a team of professionals, adapt plans to address resource and operational challenges, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the success of wildfire management systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in cybersecurity and software development, coupled with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions. This critical role requires strategic planning, project management, and a commitment to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of PGE's wildfire operations. Key Responsibilities IT Management (ITMG) Takes responsibility for the design, procurement, installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance, and effective use of IT infrastructure components and monitors their performance.

Provides technical management of IT operations, ensuring agreed service levels are met and all relevant procedures are adhered to.

Schedules and supervises maintenance and installation work.

Identifies and resolves operational problems, ensuring procedures and practices are current and fit for purpose.

IT Strategy and Planning (ITSP) Ensures adherence to IT strategic management processes and timetables.

Collates information and creates insights to support IT strategic management.

Develops and communicates plans to advance the strategy, including creating policies, standards, and guidelines for IT planning.

Financial Management for IT (FMIT) Advises on financial planning and budgeting, developing financial plans and forecasts.

Monitors IT expenditures and ensures financial targets are met.

Assists in defining effective financial controls and decision-making processes.

Resourcing (RESC) Conducts job analyses, prepares job descriptions, and manages recruitment campaigns.

Locates and selects external suppliers, ensuring terms and obligations are met.

Manages candidate selection processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.

Professional Development (PDSV) Mentors team members, aligning with organizational development needs and training strategies.

Creates development plans and validates achievements against outcome statements.

Contributes to performance appraisals and career development.

Programming/Software Development (PROG) Sets team-based standards for programming tools and techniques, ensuring compliance.

Provides technical responsibility for software development projects and monitors performance.

Offers guidance to less experienced colleagues.

Application Support (ASVP) Drafts and maintains application support procedures.

Manages application enhancements, licensing, and disaster recovery needs.

Incident Management (USUP) Ensures incidents are handled and resolved according to procedures.

Documents and closes incidents while analyzing causes to prevent recurrence.

Data Product Management Leads a team of developers, data scientists, and engineers in creating and managing data products.

Oversees the full software development lifecycle for data products, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions.

Stays current with emerging technologies and fosters a culture of innovation.

Qualifications Education/Experience/Certifications Education : Typically a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience : Typically eight or more years in a related field.

Advanced knowledge of user experience design frameworks and change management processes.

Advanced knowledge of service continuity planning and operating system concepts.

Compensation Range: $125,790.00 - $233,610.00 Actual total compensation, including a performance based incentive bonus, is commensurate with experience, skills, qualifications, education, training, and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
