We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Director to join our team in the manufacturing industry, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing all financial operations, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring compliance within accounting standards.


Responsibilities:

• Lead a diverse finance team towards achieving the company's strategic goals

• Coordinate all accounting and finance functions, including monthly closings, internal financial results packages, key metric reports, and capital expenditure tracking

• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting processes

• Collaborate with senior management to drive performance towards strategic goals

• Analyze data for strategic decision-making

• Manage cash flow and working capital

• Ensure compliance within accounting, auditing, tax, and other regulatory matters

• Lead Information system projects to improve business processes and data analysis

• Employ your skills in Accounting Functions, Auditing, Month End Close, Financial Reporting, KPI Reporting, Budgeting - Forecasting, and Cash Flow Management to contribute to the team's success.

• Extensive experience in managing accounting functions in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in auditing and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close procedures
• Experience in preparing comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders
• Proficient in KPI reporting and providing insights for strategic decision-making
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting to support business planning
• Proven track record in cash flow management to ensure financial stability
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage and mentor a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA or CMA preferred
• Proficiency in using accounting software and other relevant technology tools.
