We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in the Atwater, California. This role involves managing daily accounting tasks within a fast-paced environment.


Key responsibilities:


• Managing the processing and posting of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Preparing financial statements and reports, providing regular updates on financial status.

• Handling high-volume data entry tasks, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of all data.

• Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial records are up to date.

• Assisting in the closing processes at the end of each month.

• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.

• Utilizing your established accounting knowledge and skills to support the financial operations of the organization.

• Adhering strictly to accounting processes and procedures to maintain financial compliance.

• Managing invoice processing tasks, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Maintaining an organized and streamlined accounting system to facilitate easy access to information.

• Possess a minimum of one year experience in accounting

• Proficient in executing accounting functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Capable of managing high-volume data entry tasks

• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
