Job Description
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in MENTOR, Ohio. This role involves a variety of tasks within the field of accounting, including processing payroll, managing accounts receivable and payable, and using QuickBooks for various accounting tasks. This is a direct hire position that is in office. The hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:30PM.
They do want a candidate who has a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, has QuickBooks experience, and has a desire to grow.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payment
• Maintain and manage accounts receivable, ensuring all invoices are issued and paid in a timely manner
• Handle accounts payable duties, including invoice processing and payment
• Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks and operations
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and record keeping
• Assist with bi-monthly payroll activities
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with all internal and external accounting regulations and standards
• Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department through proactive involvement in tasks and responsibilities.

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)• Experience in Invoice Processing
