Job Description
We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Frisco, Texas. This role is a hybrid one, with in-office requirements on Tuesdays and Thursdays and the option to work from home the rest of the week. The job function involves close collaboration with the sales department and frequent use of accounting software systems.
Responsibilities:
• Streamlining processes in the sales department through the use of advanced Excel skills, including vlookup, pivot tables, and formulas
• Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Using accounting software systems to automate sales systems, portals, and training manuals
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial data
• Handling billing functions and ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded
• Utilizing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management
• Working with ADP - Financial Services, Ceridian, and Concur for various accounting functions
• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and processing customer credit applications efficiently.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential
• Experience with Ceridian is an advantage
• Proficiency in using Concur is required
• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions effectively
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Skilled in Auditing procedures
• Ability to carry out Billing Functions effectively
