Job Description
We are in search of a meticulous part-time Accounting Assistant for our operations in Liberty Lake, Washington. In this role, you will be a vital part of our financial team, focusing on processing invoices, tracking payments, and maintaining precise records within the Credit Agencies industry. This position presents a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the management of client invoices and track outstanding payments.
• Participate in the processing of invoices, ensuring the verification of vendor payments.
• Take charge of maintaining an accurate record of payables and receivables.
• Assist with reconciling General Ledgers on a monthly basis.
• Play a key role in balancing the office or department budget.
• Post journal entries related to financial transactions.
• Sort and archive financial documents to ensure easy retrieval.
• Handle daily Credit Union account reconciliation.
• Manage share draft exceptions and ACH exceptions and reconciliation.
• Participate in various accounting projects as needed.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required to manage financial data effectively.• Familiarity with various Accounting Functions to ensure smooth and efficient financial operations.
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) to manage outgoing payments and invoices.
• Capability in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) to keep track of incoming payments and invoices.
• Proficiency in performing Bank Reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
