Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Garfield Heights, Ohio. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing financial information by handling tasks such as account reconciliation, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This is an in office position with standard business hours.
This is a permanent position.
Responsibilities
• Accurately process AIA billing
• Oversee the management of accounts payable (AP)
• Handle the execution of accounts receivable (AR)
• Ensure accurate account reconciliation is maintained
• Monitor and take appropriate action on customer accounts
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records
• Process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation• Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of two years' experience in a similar role
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Strong aptitude for math and financial data
• Proficient in Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Willingness to adhere to all company procedures and regulations
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
