Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager situated in Spring, Texas. This role is essential within our team, focusing on managing customer audits, employee expense reports, and general ledger accounts. This role is also responsible for implementing and maintaining internal controls, reviewing invoices, and analyzing financial data.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee a team, offering guidance and support as required
• Lead customer audit processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Take charge of employee expense reports, including the creation of journal entries
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records
• Review and approve OI Invoices, ensuring alignment with PO/Invoice terms and coding
• Analyze financial data and draft accrual and adjusting entries, providing insights to management for decision-making
• Stay abreast of accounting regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and identifying process improvement opportunities
• Monitor and analyze balance sheets, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Oversee sales tax activity, including submissions to support audits
• Aid with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all necessary journal entries and reconciliations are completed accurately and timely.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of accounting or related areas
• In-depth knowledge and proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and manage a team of accountants
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or relevant qualification is preferred
