We are offering an exciting opportunity in Merrillville, Indiana, for an Accounting Clerk to join our team. In this position, you will be a key player in our finance department, with responsibilities ranging from maintaining accounts payable and receivable records to assisting with account discrepancies and working with vendors.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the accounts receivable and ensure they are set up correctly
• Handle accounts payable with accuracy and efficiency
• Generate comprehensive financial reports as required
• Actively engage in collections process, ensuring all outstanding payments are received
• Prepare and issue invoices in a timely manner
• Maintain productive relationships with vendors and address any issues
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies found in accounts
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks
• Experience with SAP software is a plus, but not required.• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Must have experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations is essential
• Should possess skills in Billing procedures
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately and efficiently
• Expertise in Invoice Processing is necessary
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks
