Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in the Northwest suburbs. This role is integral to our operations within the manufacturing industry and involves overseeing an AP person and managing all accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and managing the performance of the AP person.

• Overseeing A to Z accounting operations in alignment with industry standards.

• Utilizing Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient management of accounting functions.

• Ensuring timely and accurate month end close procedures.

• Conducting account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

• Performing auditing duties to validate the accuracy of transactions and accounting records.

• Reporting directly to the CFO and providing updates on company financial status.

• Ensuring compliance with all internal processes and legal requirements.

• Candidate must hold a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of Accounting.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role.

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is required.

• Comprehensive knowledge and handling of Accounting Functions is necessary.

• Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures is helpful.

• Proven experience in Auditing is a plus.

• The ability to efficiently perform Month End Close tasks is required.

• Experience in Account Reconciliation is an essential requirement for this role.
