We are in the market for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor based in GREENSBORO, North Carolina. This role is centered around the management of financial processes, including the preparation of financial statements, overseeing the month-end close process, and supervising accounts payable and receivable functions.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the month-end close process • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions • Execute general ledger and bank reconciliations • Supervise and provide guidance to accounting team members • Manage special projects related to accounting and financial reporting • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations • Leverage advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting • Communicate financial information to non-financial team members and stakeholders • Continuously review and improve accounting processes and procedures.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting management or supervisory role • Proficiency in conducting Month End Close procedures • Experience in Ledger Reconciliations and Bank Reconciliations • Demonstrated ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Ability to generate and analyze Financial Statements • Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor the accounting team • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field • Familiarity with financial software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
