Our client is a publicly held organization seeking an experienced tax professional to manage the full lifecycle of accounting for income taxes on a global basis. This includes annual, quarterly, and forecasted tax rate computations, return-to-provision analysis, and balance sheet tax account reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead global tax accounting processes, including quarterly reviews of uncertain tax positions.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop staff and external service providers.
• Collaborate on acquisitions, ensuring tax accounting compliance and educating personnel on internal policies and procedures.
• Support tax planning initiatives by analyzing tax accounting implications of transactions.
• Conduct on-site reviews of non-US subsidiaries’ tax accounts.
• Provide tax-related guidance to global finance teams, including training in ASC 740 and internal control procedures.
• Oversee and maintain internal controls documentation related to global tax accounts.
• Assist in preparing federal income tax returns and support management with ad hoc tax analyses.
• Engage in special projects as assigned.
