We seek an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and support all aspects of the accounting cycle, including financial reporting, tax, audits, and process improvement initiatives. The role requires an individual who can lead a team yet work autonomously while collaborating closely with Accounting Operations and senior-level executives to enhance internal controls and cross-functional processes.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Education: Master's degree in accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-entity environment, and 2+ years in public accounting (preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with GAAP, ERP systems (AP, AR, general ledger), and balance sheet reconciliations; strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, tables, pivot charts).


Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the month-end close process, including reviewing journal entries, reconciling all balance sheet accounts, and preparing financial reports for management review.
  • Supervise a team of four, including Accounting and Accounts Receivable staff.
  • Provide technical documentation for accounting issues and ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Develop schedules to support external audits and tax filings, coordinating directly with external auditors and tax consultants.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in multi-currency transactions and support subsidiaries with intercompany reconciliations.
  • Initiate cross-functional process improvements with accounting and other departments.
  • Document internal controls, enhance efficiency, and support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support AR, AP, and Finance teams across subsidiaries with day-to-day and ad hoc analysis.
  • Manage the chart of accounts and resolve ERP-related issues affecting accounting and operations.
  • Coordinate the year-end audit and assist with annual budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite preferred) and payroll software (ADP preferred).
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with intercompany transactions, tax filing, and variance analysis, as well as proven process improvement initiatives.
  • Support the team when needed.
  • Follows all policies and procedures of Occupational Safety and Health, Human Resources and Quality Department. Reports any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
