Concordia is a leading provider in the transportation, logistics, and freight forwarding industry. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our fast-paced team. Position Overview:

As an Accounting Clerk at Concordia, you will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for processing invoices, handling customer inquiries, managing vendor transactions, and ensuring accurate accounting practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Invoicing: Prepare and send customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve any customer invoice-related issues.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work directly with sales managers and representatives to clarify credit terms and address billing discrepancies.
  • Vendor Invoice Processing: Process incoming invoices from vendors, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Overhead Invoices: Manage and process overhead invoices.
  • Airline Accounting: Handle airline accounting, including CASS (Cargo Accounts Settlement Systems).
  • Communication: Answer incoming calls, handle customer inquiries, and ensure proper email and fax message processing.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma required; additional accounting or business coursework is a plus.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with transportation, logistics, or freight forwarding is preferred.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in handling customer and vendor relationships.
  • TSA Compliance: Must comply with all TSA regulations, as Concordia is a Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF).
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills with a focus on accuracy and professionalism.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in standard PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of accounting software is a plus.
