Our client, a leading CPA firm, is seeking experienced IPO Readiness Accounting Consultants to support a high-growth client preparing to go public in the next 9-12 months. This role is an exciting opportunity for accounting professionals with a strong background in public accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance to play a key role in guiding a company through the IPO process. Role Overview
As an IPO Readiness Consultant, you'll work closely with the client's finance and executive teams to ensure a smooth, compliant, and successful transition to a public company. This is a contract role requiring up to 40 hours per week, with a high degree of collaboration with both the client's and CPA firm's teams. Ideal candidates are in the Tampa/Clearwater area or can travel periodically if working remotely.

- Compensation: Up to $100/Hour (W2). Increased compensation considerations for 1099/C2C Consultants

Qualifications
- CPA required; advanced understanding of SEC regulations and GAAP is essential.
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting, with a background in Audit, Advisory, or IPO preparation.
- Hands-on experience with IPO readiness, SOX compliance, and SEC filings.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 842 (Lease Accounting).
- Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and complex financial consolidation.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), financial reporting tools, and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
Preferred
- Candidates local to the Tampa/Clearwater area or willing to travel periodically if remote.
- Experience in high-growth, pre-IPO, or publicly traded companies.
