GENERAL PURPOSEResponsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within the Accounting department. Assist with month and year-end entries as well as financial audits.
Primary Responsibilities
Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or vendors; manual dexterity is required for occasional reaching and lifting small objects and operating manufacturing equipment. Must be able to lift various weights as needed to meet job requirements.
Will occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, machine lubricants, airborne particles, vibration, and risk of electrical shock, and can experience high noise while in the manufacturing plant. Personal protective equipment (vision and hearing) can be used in the plant. Can be exposed to heat and humidity conditions during warm weather months.

- Accounts Payable maintenance consists of
- Invoice entry
- Accrual receiving match with PO and invoice
- Employee expense report entry
- Credit card reconciliation
- Accounts receivable maintenance consisting of
- Cash collection receipts and reconciliation
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Other financial responsibilities and special projects as necessary
- Assist with year-end entries and schedules
- Provide support for annual financial audit
Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge/ Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- 1+ years of related experience
Skills/ Abilities Pertinent to This Position
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of Accounting principles and standards
- Experience with MS Office and accounting system software
- High attention to detail and accuracy
