Job summary
Responsible for a variety of routine and some non-routine accounting/office functions in accordance with general accounting/office principles.
Duties and essential job functions
- Interface with route and route supervisors on collection matters.
- Process all new credit applications.
- Process all credit card payments.
- Verify collection amounts daily. Ensure necessary paperwork is completed and accurate.
- Guarantee all cash and paperwork turned in meet our internal control procedures.
- Perform accounts receivable collections, payment applications, aging analysis, etc..
- Help with certain month end activities
- Perform special accounting projects as needed and requested by the Office Manager.
- Assist with balance sheet account recs.
- Drive the internal controls monthly checklist.
- Perform general office duties that include, but are not limited to, answering incoming phone calls, ordering supplies, filing, daily collection of mail, and making copies etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position requires regular and reliable attendance.
Minimum requirements
An Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience is required. Knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable and general office procedures is a must. Highly proficient in computer applications preferred.

Physical Job Functions:
- Use standard office equipment
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop as necessary
- Occasionally lift office supplies and products up to 30 pounds
- Requires physical ability to file-open drawers/close drawers, move files and boxes of product
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus to read small print, numbers, etc.

Critical Physical Demands:
Sitting:
Frequently in vehicle driving to appointments and at desk to type and complete paperwork.
Walking:
Occasionally to execute routine office functions such as moving between office equipment and filing locations and to execute face to face communications with employees.

Frequently for filing, copying, and general office functions.
Trunk Rotation:
Occasionally for filing, copying, and general office duties.
Squatting/Crouching:
Occasionally, to pick up, sort, retrieve and place paperwork in proper filing area.
Grasping/Pinching/Wrist Turning:
Frequently, to handle paperwork, filing duties, and moving boxes of product
Finger Manipulation:
Occasionally to handle paperwork, filing duties, and moving boxes of product
Lifting/Carrying:
Occasionally, up to 50 pounds to load presentation materials or orientation materials and take items to and from
Locations.
