Accounting Intern Job at Formosa Foods in Dallas

Your Role

As our Accounting Intern, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assist in processing and finalizing paperwork for Accounts Payable and Receivable
• Help maintain fixed asset and depreciation schedules for tax purposes
• Support the processing of purchase orders
• Aid in collecting monthly reports from departments and preparing the General Ledger
• Assist with bank reconciliations
• Help prepare internal and external financial statements
• Support the management of the petty cash account
• Contribute to maintaining 1099s
• Assist in month-end closing procedures

What We Are Seeking

We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Strong academic performance, particularly in accounting and finance courses
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is a plus.
