Addison Group is excited to support the search for a leading client in the distribution sector who is seeking an Interim Accounting Manager to oversee their shared services operations. This role is a key contributor to optimizing processes and driving efficiency across the organization.

This hybrid position requires on-site presence in Eden Prairie, MN, and offers compensation of up to $60/hour, depending on applicable experience. Only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support teams managing Accounts Payable, Billing, and Cash Applications.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices are coded consistently and payments are processed accurately and on schedule.
• Supervise billing activities, ensuring prompt invoice and rebate distribution while minimizing errors to enhance the Credit & Collections workflow.
• Manage the preparation and submission of annual 1099 filings, resolving issues in the positive pay system to ensure accurate check clearing.
• Create and track operational metrics to ensure timely, accurate performance, providing team training to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with sales and pricing teams to streamline billing operations and address customer concerns.
• Drive cash application efficiency through automation and streamlined processes.
• Generate regular performance reports, tracking key metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver excellent customer service by fostering strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in additional projects or duties to support the organization’s financial operations.
