HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Be responsible for processing and maintaining payroll records, accounts payable invoices, and journal entries. This position is also responsible for maintaining the Finance department electronic files, electronically depositing checks, miscellaneous accounts receivables, and providing back-up support for the Finance department utility Customer Service Associates.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
At least two years experience in accounting procedures and general accounting office operation with an ability to apply basic bookkeeping skills. As well as at least 16 to 24 hours of College level course work in accounting or bookkeeping preferred. A comprehensive knowledge and experience in processing payroll as well as experience in accounts payable and processing invoices. Strong interpersonal and communications skills are a must.
