JOB REQUIREMENTS: Possession of valid California driver's license and good driving record. High School Diploma or equivalent to ensure the ability to read, write, and communicate for successful job performance. Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation clearance TB clearance Pre-employment District physical examination including drug and alcohol screening clearance Possession of a valid first aid certificate within six months of appointment to the position Possession of a valid CPR certificate within six months of appointment to the position Type 40 words per minute

Desert Center Unified School District is a small, rural school district located about 45 minutes from the Coachella Valley and the Palo Verde Valley. The school is on the southeast side of Joshua Tree National Park. We have an amazing staff and student population. Our student population is typically under 30 students in the TK thru 8th grade. This position will help support a possible future transition to the Senior Accountant Position once that position opens. The school does provide rent free housing for those that might require it. Housing is not a guarantee and is made available based on availability and need.
