Position Summary:

Entry-level position that conducts audits of Gaming and Non-Gaming areas. Revenue Auditor is responsible for the timely and accurate completion and documentation of all audits and reports of the daily revenues. The Revenue Auditor performs as the first line of review for all financial and revenue related functions to ensure compliance with all Internal Controls. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the company and department policies and procedures, Minimum Internal Control Standards, and Graton's System of Internal Controls. Training ongoing to prepare for Revenue Auditor II position.

Essential Functions:

1. Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting Graton Resort & Casino's Company-wide culture and demonstrating Graton Resort & Casino's Service Standards at all times.
2. Ensure adherence to all confidentiality requirements regarding all information, verbal or documented, to which the auditor has been provided directly or indirectly.
3. Ensure integrity in all aspects of the audit process and perform assignments in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.
4. Attend and participate in all department meetings, training sessions, and other sessions as directed by management.
5. Perform as a team player in a team oriented environment to ensure accurate and timely completion of all audits.
6. Ensure that all revenues/expenses are supported by properly authorized documentation, recorded to the proper account and review account balances at predetermined frequencies.
7. Generate reports. Review all reports, documentation and other supporting information for completeness, authenticity, authorization, and accuracy.
8. Compile tax documentation and information for tax filings.
9. Create, edit and update spreadsheets, and verify balances to reports.
10. Review audit results/spreadsheets for reasonability and investigate any unexpected or unreasonable deviations; investigate any discrepancies or cash variations exceeding predetermined thresholds and report results to management.
11. Prepare exception reports for violations noted during audits.
12. Communicate professionally with various department managers regarding documentation either missing or not adhering to established SOP's and Internal Controls; inquire about processes or documents as needed for the accurate completion of the daily audit.
13. Adheres to all personnel and department policies and procedures.
14. Scan, file and log accounting documents. Compile documents for proper storage and perform other general office and accounting projects and duties as directed by management.
15. Responsible for maintaining a consistent and regular attendance record; available to work at times extending beyond regularly-scheduled hours.

Required Qualifications:

1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Must be at least 21 years of age.
3. Must obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
4. Must be able to interact with others and maintain a positive and professional demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.
5. Must be able to meet all assigned deadlines.
6. Must have good analytical, organizational and time management skills.
7. Must be attentive to detail and have the ability to perform basic data entry.
8. Must be proficient with Windows operating system and competent in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Must be able to pass a basic Excel test.
9. Must know 10-key.
10. Must be flexible with daily responsibilities and work schedule; able to work holidays, weekends and 10 hour shift.
11. Gaming audit experience or casino operations preferred, but not necessary.
12. High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not necessary.
13. Willing to learn all areas of accounting.

Physical Requirements:

1. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
2. Must be able to sit for the duration of shift.
3. Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
